Artist of the Month - Don Heck

Don Heck was a prolific artist going from Pre-Code horror to co-creating Iron Man and a few other MARVEL characters! With some 'horrific' pre-code horror art Don Heck moved to Atlas comics (now MARVEL!) after the Seduction of the innocent court hearings near enough banning all horror elements from comics, needing a career revival he arrived at the doors at Atlas just in time for the start of the dawn of the Silver Age! Don Heck drew the interior art of none other than Tales of Suspense 39 (First Appearance of Iron Man!). Don Heck would also go onto help create Black Widow, Wonder Man and more before drawing other issues of MARVEL issues such as The Avengers, Black Goliath, X-Men, Spider-Man, Captain America and lots more!
